Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

About the service

TempEmail gives you a free, temporary email inbox with no sign-up. It is built for developers and QA teams who need to test sign-up, verification, OTP and password-reset emails, and for people who want to keep their real address private from spam. By using TempEmail you agree to these terms.

Use it honestly

You may use TempEmail only for lawful, honest purposes. Fraud, account farming, spam and every other use listed in our Acceptable Use Policy are not allowed. That policy is part of these terms.

Temporary and not private

  • Inboxes and the emails in them are deleted automatically after a limited time. Deleted emails cannot be recovered.
  • An inbox has no password. Anyone with its link can read it, so never use TempEmail for banking, important accounts, password recovery or anything sensitive.
  • Emails are sent to you by third parties. We do not write, check or endorse their content.

How we enforce these terms

To protect the service and the people who use it, we may at any time and without notice block senders or domains, limit or block networks and IP addresses, refuse or delete emails, and close inboxes that break these terms. We may share information with authorities when the law requires it.

Advertising

TempEmail is free because it shows ads from third-party advertising networks. Those networks may use cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee. We do not promise that every email will arrive, that the service will always be available, or that it will be free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TempEmail is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the service, from lost or missed emails, or from content sent to an inbox by third parties.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using TempEmail after a change, you accept the updated terms.
