Privacy Policy

What we collect

TempEmail does not require registration and does not collect personal information. When you use the service, the following is temporarily stored:

• The randomly generated email address assigned to your session
• Emails received at that address during the active session
• A session identifier (GUID) stored in your browser's localStorage and URL

All of this data is automatically deleted after one hour. Nothing is kept beyond that window.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for general usage tracking — page views, session counts, and basic interaction patterns. This data is used only to understand how the service is being used in aggregate. No email content is ever sent to these tools. Both services may set cookies in your browser. You can opt out via your browser settings or a standard ad blocker.

Email content

Emails received at your temporary address are stored only for the duration of your session (one hour). We do not read, analyse, sell, or share email content. After the session expires, emails are permanently deleted.

Cookies and local storage

We store your session GUID in localStorage so you can return to the same inbox within the hour by bookmarking the URL. No tracking cookies are set by TempEmail itself. Third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) may set their own cookies.

Third parties

Email is received via Cloudflare Email Routing. The service infrastructure runs on Microsoft Azure. Neither Cloudflare nor Azure has access to email content beyond what is necessary to route and store it during the active session.

Your rights

Because no account is created and all data expires automatically, there is nothing to request deletion of after the session ends. If you have questions about data handling, contact us at the address below.
