# TempEmail

> TempEmail (https://temp-email.ai) is a free temporary (disposable) email address service built for software testing and privacy. Open the page and you instantly get a real, working inbox — no sign-up, no registration, no password, and no personal information. Emails arrive in real time, and the address plus everything in it is permanently deleted after one hour. It is used most heavily by technical teams — developers, QA / test engineers, and data / analytics teams — to test the emails their own applications send.

- Copy the address (there's a copy button and a QR code) and paste it wherever an email is required.
- Incoming email appears in the inbox instantly over a live connection — no refresh button, no polling.
- HTML emails render fully; you can open verification and confirmation links and read OTP codes.
- The address and all messages are permanently deleted one hour after the inbox is created. Nothing is archived, read, or sold.
- The session is kept in the page URL and browser local storage, so bookmarking lets you return to the same inbox within the hour.
- Open a new browser tab to get a second, completely independent inbox — the simplest way to represent another test user.
- Works on any device and browser, including mobile.

- Free with no limits, no plans, and no account — ever.
- Receive-only: TempEmail cannot send email.
- No password protects an inbox; addresses are random and long enough not to be guessed, but the service is not meant for anything sensitive like banking or private messages.
- Attachments are not stored — only email text and HTML content, and only during the active one-hour session.
